We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. The pattern of light and shadows across the comforter adds a lot of texture and visual interest to this. With the shadow over the cat's eyes, it's hard to tell if they are open or closed - if he's yawning or attacking! And somehow you managed to avoid the multi-colored noise that a lot of digital cameras seem to put on cat-fur.. meow.
Very nice shot.
